Life is moving at an astonishing pace.
Email, internet, cell phones and staying politically correct . . .
In a whirlwind of change, who has time just to live much less ask where we are headed?
The Church of Christ at Louisville is a group of Christians who believe that the Bible
reveals the truths about faith and living that uncomplicates life.

Our Church

* A church that empowers its members to grow more into the likeness of Christ.
* A church that upholds the Bible alone as the rule of faith and living.
* A church that worships God from the heart in reverence and praise.
* A church that aggressively spreads the good news of Jesus Christ by word of mouth and by lifestyle.
* A church that encourages friendships with other Christians.
* A church where all people, regardless of race, gender, age, or socio-economic standing, are valued and useful in the kingdom of God.
* A church that believes salvation comes by faith in Jesus Christ and not by man's efforts to be morally or doctrinally perfect.

Our Beliefs

* There is one invisible, eternal God who is both loving and just (Exodus 34:6; Deuteronomy 6:4)
* God has revealed himself in the persons of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Mark 1:9-11)
* Jesus is the Christ, God in the flesh (John 1:1, 14).
* The Holy Spirit is received in water baptism as a strengthener and teacher (Acts 2:38; Ephesians 1:17; 3:16).
* The Bible is God's Word to man and is complete and without error (2 Timothy 3:16, 17; 2 Peter 1:20, 21; Revelation 22:18, 19).
* Salvation cannot be earned by good works, but is given freely through Jesus' blood and resurrection from the dead (Ephesians 2:8, 9; Romans 3:24-26).
* Salvation begins at the point of faith in Jesus Christ, includes repentance from sin, public confession and immersion in water into Jesus Christ (John 3:3-5; Acts 16:29-34; 22:16; Romans 6:3-4).
